Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaud Konieczny took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Ologu. Victor Ologu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Anton Best kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Freddy Valentine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Victor Ologu made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Kristopher Le Saux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Raureni Academy's Victor Ologu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. Santiago Feo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, one of Yala:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yala:s Zeledon Curcio showed great skill when he stopped Cristinel Tomozei:s penalty. 24 minutes into the match, Cristinel Tomozei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Curcio. Yala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristinel Tomozei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Kristopher Le Saux sped through Raureni Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victor Ologu. When Yala's Arnaud Konieczny in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Raureni Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Andrițoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Arnaud Konieczny dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victor Ologu, 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristopher Le Saux was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Raureni Academy's zone, Arnaud Konieczny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Ologu came out of the goal and Arnaud Konieczny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaud Konieczny struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Victor Ologu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yala. In the 58th minute, Arnaud Konieczny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Victor Ologu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristopher Le Saux went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Doru Vernescu charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doru Vernescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Raureni Academy's Doru Vernescu got a free kick in the 64th minute. Victor Ologu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaud Konieczny in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Arnaud Konieczny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Ologu. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaud Konieczny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Victor Ologu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Lore scored 10-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Ologu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Yala's Kristopher Le Saux got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Generoso Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ologu having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Yala's Generoso Pinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Ologu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marcial Lore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yala's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Lore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Ologu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Raureni Academy's Doru Vernescu got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Yala were the better team. Yala's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
