Jairo Deunoro struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballeritos del Baile. Jairo Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Caballeritos del Baile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafino Hermelando in the 34th minute. Caballeritos del Baile's Serafino Hermelando was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pankracy Glogowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mugur Chiriac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Urtsua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 38th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Jairo Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Deunoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Chwalkiewicz made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paolo Caradaro immediately put the ball in play. 47 minutes into the game, Caballeritos del Baile's Jairo Deunoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 58th minute, Jairo Deunoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Deunoro in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caballeritos del Baile's Maximiliano Ramirez was substituted for Jairo Deunoro. Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki was substituted for Mugur Chiriac. Jairo Deunoro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Nevada came free, but Angelo Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Nevada. Caballeritos del Baile's Honorio Erasto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emil Chwalkiewicz in the 91 minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Alfonso Goicoechea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Maximiliano Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
