The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Philadelphia Union FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Buinton to make the kick off.
