When Carlos Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SITIO CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Garcia couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Allan Beckeman threw the ball into play from the sideline. SITIO CITY's Adolfo Pimenta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by SITIO CITY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inocencio Lorien was slow to take the kick. During this time NovaStella FK's players had a chance to rest. Inocencio Lorien made a great header on NovaStella FK's corner, it was just that SITIO CITY's Zé Gato managed to reach the ball for a save. SITIO CITY's attentive Adolfo Pimenta managed to snatch the ball when Allan Beckeman made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. If Inocencio Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Gato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Pantelimon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Carlos Garcia put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Viktor Häll. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Ek in the 35th minute of play. When Rubim Jordão came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SITIO CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubim Jordão couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute Marcu Pantelimon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Gato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Pelle Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in NovaStella FK's zone, Rubim Jordão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Häll came out of the goal and Rubim Jordão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Garcia in the 53rd minute of play forced NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Viktor Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Allan Beckeman with Kristoffer Ek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Pelle Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. SITIO CITY's Julio Iglesias was substituted for Chiquinho Pereira. SITIO CITY's Fabian Dalman was substituted for Adolfo Pimenta. After a rather tough play, NovaStella FK's Pelle Nyman got a free kick in the 68th minute. Zé Gato was a little too slow when Marcu Pantelimon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-1. Zé Gato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Lluciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Mei Quan Sen with Roman Lluciano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Pantelimon in the 84th minute of play. Marcu Pantelimon took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Gato. Zé Gato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SITIO CITY from getting a goal against them. Viktor Häll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zé Gato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NovaStella FK's Viktor Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Carvalho in the 97th minute of play. The NovaStella FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NovaStella FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
