Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Paes kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Călin Boteanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Călin Boteanu was a little too slow when Afonso Paes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. Adam Rednic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th play minute Téo Trancoso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Călin Boteanu. 3-0. Téo Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. DINAMO's Călin Boteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Paes in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goalkeeper Călin Boteanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Téo Trancoso. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Toninho Prestes got a free kick in the 40th minute. Téo Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Călin Boteanu made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Rednic to make the kick off. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Téo Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Boteanu. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Boteanu should have stopped the shot. Călin Boteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Trancoso in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Mihail Aldea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeiras the free kick. Mihail Aldea hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Călin Boteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Trancoso in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Téo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Boteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute Afonso Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Boteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Boteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Călin Boteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Trancoso in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Palmeiras's Afonso Paes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Boteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 87 minutes into the match, Téo Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Boteanu. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Téo Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Palmeiras's Téo Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Ademir Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Palmeiras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
