Buba Lopez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aníbal Abraão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. Cesar Oporto took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Campidelis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Hurtado in the 39th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Lovo's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Lovo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ★ Lobos FC ★'s Jaime Lovo got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Divina Comédia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ★ Lobos FC ★ were winning 1-2.

Bebeto Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Hurtado in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Augusto Hurtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Divina Comédia FC's Bebeto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Oporto in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Larios got free with Bebeto Campidelis in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
