Brooklyn SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bullen the free kick. After 11 played minutes FC Bullen got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Mårtensson. Matthias Kiempe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darnell Watts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivar Holm during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Bullen getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ivar Holm hit a great ball. If Edgar Chandler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Christopher Rowley hit a great ball. Osvaldo Cadena made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Gunnar Hökkvist sent off a good shot on target. Christopher Rowley was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. Randall Haynes charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randall Haynes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Randall Haynes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Cadena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Erik Lange. In the 36th minute Edgar Chandler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Kiempe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthias Kiempe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Haynes in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Ivar Holm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bullen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Andreas Ekblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Osvaldo Cadena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Gunnar Hökkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Cadena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Osvaldo Cadena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Hökkvist in the 54th minute of play. Randall Haynes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Bullen were furious when Ivar Holm was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, FC Bullen's Ivar Holm got a free kick in the 65th minute. Matthias Kiempe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randall Haynes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th match minute, FC Bullen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Ekblom to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Haynes in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Bullen's goalkeeper Matthias Kiempe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, FC Bullen's goalkeeper Matthias Kiempe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Chandler. Randall Haynes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Kiempe having to interfere. After 86 played minutes FC Bullen got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Hjeltman. Osvaldo Cadena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Ekblom in the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Bullen had won after a very even match.
