After a rather tough play, Cuervos AFC's Tomás Meo got a free kick in the 5th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's Arthur Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Pepillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dorian Valladares took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saverio Pepillo. Saverio Pepillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Arthur Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Gonzalo Benvide reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bebeto Campidelis. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Barbosa in the 38th minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Saverio Pepillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorian Valladares made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Aníbal Abraão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Saverio Pepillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the game, Vito Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Divina Comédia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuervos AFC the free kick. Vito Arruda hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Tomás Meo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bebeto Campidelis. Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Benvide in the 65th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Luiz Eduardo Martins fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divina Comédia FC's protests and gave Luiz Eduardo Martins a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Benvide in the 72nd minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel das Neves hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Bebeto Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Benvide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Dorian Valladares made a precise shot to the right of Saverio Pepillo. Cuervos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 90th minute Gonzalo Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Divina Comédia FC's Bebeto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Bernebe in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Gonzalo Benvide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The Divina Comédia FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Divina Comédia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
