Pascal Dailey kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Osvaldo Cadena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Camargo in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darnell Watts in the 9th minute of play forced Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goalkeeper Armandinho Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Brooklyn SC's Randall Haynes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armandinho Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the match, Waldemar Camargo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osvaldo Cadena, 1-1. Waldemar Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Cadena having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Randall Haynes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Armandinho Mattos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jeferson Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brooklyn SC's Osvaldo Cadena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Brooklyn SC from getting a goal against them. Armandinho Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darnell Watts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darnell Watts to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Tobias Kilgore got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Brooklyn SC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 57 minutes, Giuseppe Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wakanda fv FSCMZ and the Brooklyn SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brooklyn SC made a substitution. Emanuel Farris replaced Scot Lincoln. Brooklyn SC's Osvaldo Cadena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Santo in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Wakanda fv FSCMZ booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Kilgore didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 68 minutes on the clock, Severino Santo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Armandinho Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Haynes in the 75th minute of play. Jeferson Fantini hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Tobias Kilgore's late challenge caught a Wakanda fv FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Kilgore helped the player get up and apologised. Tobias Kilgore kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Randall Haynes got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Randall Haynes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Pascal Dailey received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armandinho Mattos came out and tried to block the shot, but Pascal Dailey slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascal Dailey during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Wakanda fv FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Camargo in the 97th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Cadena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Wakanda fv FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brooklyn SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
