Terence Nicholas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Miltos Baltsakis made a huge save. La Capira's Miltos Baltsakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 10th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Lanny Gilmore made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. La Capira's Miltos Baltsakis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lanny Gilmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 17th minute of play forced La Capira's goalkeeper Miltos Baltsakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Mike Richardson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miltos Baltsakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Jenkot in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Lanny Gilmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltos Baltsakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Santos FC's Cesar Small to fire away a dangerous shot which Miltos Baltsakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 27th minute Lanny Gilmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltos Baltsakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos FC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after La Capira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Warren Ruiz took the corner. The corner ended in Tyron Velasquez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Capira's Miltos Baltsakis did a great save. Miltos Baltsakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyron Velasquez in the 31st minute. La Capira's Miltos Baltsakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save La Capira from getting a goal against them. When Lanny Gilmore fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos FC's protests and gave Lanny Gilmore a yellow card for diving instead. Lanny Gilmore hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Capira's zone, Lanny Gilmore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltos Baltsakis came out of the goal and Lanny Gilmore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Lanny Gilmore took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Miltos Baltsakis to make any attempt to save it. When Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Capira's goalie prevented a goal. Santos FC were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after La Capira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Warren Ruiz took the corner.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lanny Gilmore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tyron Velasquez in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miltos Baltsakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lanny Gilmore scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miltos Baltsakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miltos Baltsakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 70th minute of play. La Capira's Miltos Baltsakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 73rd minute of play. Kaviedes Sastrias kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Lanny Gilmore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miltos Baltsakis having to make a save. 76 minutes into the match, La Capira's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Gilmore came free, but Miltos Baltsakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Santos FC's Tyron Velasquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miltos Baltsakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 81st minute, Lanny Gilmore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Miltos Baltsakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyron Velasquez in the 83rd minute of the match. Miltos Baltsakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Gilmore, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Santos FC's Dominic Albright sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miltos Baltsakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miltos Baltsakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Gilmore, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, La Capira's goal looked a bit too open when Tyron Velasquez came free, but Miltos Baltsakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Santos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
