Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Godofredo Marin started the match with the kick off. Vladimir Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Vladimir Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reiner Sørrig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Marin in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Prestes saved The Cavern Club from getting behind. Vladimir Prestes made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Godofredo Marin sent off a good shot on target. Victorino Txomin made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Godofredo Marin however managed to control. After having played for 19 minutes, Alberigo Prosperi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Cavern Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Prosperi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberigo Prosperi might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Facundo Altamirano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberigo Prosperi ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Prosperi came free, but Facundo Altamirano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cruz Credo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grzegorz Krychowiak during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Grzegorz Krychowiak kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberigo Prosperi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Cruz Credo made a precise shot to the right of Vladimir Prestes. The Cavern Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Reiner Sørrig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68thth minute of the game Jairo Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes. Vladimir Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vladimir Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Txomin in the 75th minute of play. If Jairo Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, The Cavern Club's Edwin Henriksson got a free kick in the 89th minute. The supporters of Maravilla booed when The Cavern Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Maravilla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
