Doru Hodorog struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Leonard Baniu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Georgica. When Eugen Bitang fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Real's protests and gave Eugen Bitang a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Eugen Bitang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Georgica booed when Team Real was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Găvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes Team Real got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Coidum. Georgica's Doru Hodorog got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Doru Hodorog who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Real's Leonard Baniu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 28 played minutes Team Real got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Corocăescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Hodorog in the 30th minute of play forced Team Real's goalkeeper Leonard Baniu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Baniu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doru Hodorog's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Georgica's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Corocăescu came free, but Manole Finteșteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doru Hodorog in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Baniu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doru Hodorog to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Doru Hodorog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Baniu was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Doru Hodorog took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Leonard Baniu to make any attempt to save it. Cosmin Corocăescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doru Hodorog who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Leonard Baniu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stelian Adomniței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes, Doru Hodorog made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Team Real's Leonard Baniu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Doru Hodorog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Leonard Baniu made a huge save. After 92 played minutes Team Real got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Coidum. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Nichita in the 95th minute of play forced Georgica's goalkeeper Manole Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georgica played a much better game than Team Real and deserved their victory. The Team Real players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
