Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Doru Hodorog got the match started through his kick off. Severo Rubio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doru Hodorog in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Imanol Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Imanol Navarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manole Finteșteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Anton Maior was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Georgica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velez FC the free kick. After 17 played minutes Georgica got a freekick which was hit by Anton Maior. Manole Finteșteanu came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Velez FC's Imanol Navarro. But to his dismay, Imanol Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edgardo Solera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Finteșteanu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Solera in the 25th minute of play forced Georgica's goalkeeper Manole Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georgica's Manole Finteșteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imanol Navarro in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Edgardo Solera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Imanol Navarro made a precise shot to the right of Manole Finteșteanu. Georgica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Hernán Acha hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Manole Finteșteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Solera in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Edgardo Solera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Finteșteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Imanol Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manole Finteșteanu. Georgica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Imanol Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Manole Finteșteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imanol Navarro in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Imanol Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Finteșteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Imanol Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velez FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Imanol Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Edgardo Solera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Manole Finteșteanu made a huge save. Marius Pipirig hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baudilio Castan in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manole Finteșteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Imanol Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Manole Finteșteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Velez FC's Aznaro Rossello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Velez FC's Aznaro Rossello got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Edgardo Solera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 66th minute, Imanol Navarro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A hard shot 67 in the game by Edgardo Solera from a close distance when the talented Manole Finteșteanu managed to make a qualified save. Georgica's players were relieved. Imanol Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Imanol Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Imanol Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Velez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Imanol Navarro couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Georgica defense, Edgardo Solera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manole Finteșteanu. The Georgica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manole Finteșteanu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 85 minutes, Edgardo Solera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velez FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Solera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Velez FC's Edgardo Solera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manole Finteșteanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hernán Acha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Imanol Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Velez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Imanol Navarro couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Doru Hodorog sped through Velez FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severo Rubio. Velez FC played a much better game than Georgica and deserved their victory. The Georgica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
