Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chaponnay FC's Brandon Teisseire started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Borgès got free with Dilan Bobet in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Ekström charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Ekström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to U21 France getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tony Ekström hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes, Chaponnay FC's Eduart Rrustemi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danny Pasquier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chaponnay FC reached it. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Rachid Borgès took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dilan Bobet to make any attempt to save it. Eduart Rrustemi charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduart Rrustemi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chaponnay FC's Eduart Rrustemi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Chaponnay FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Quentin Charuel scored to the left of an out of position Dilan Bobet, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Borgès got free with Dilan Bobet in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 26 minutes Chaponnay FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rachid Borgès who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quentin Charuel in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dilan Bobet saved Chaponnay FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Teisseire in the 31st minute of play forced U21 France's goalkeeper Danny Pasquier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danny Pasquier came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Chaponnay FC's Arthur Rannou. But to his dismay, Arthur Rannou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Borgès came free, but Dilan Bobet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes U21 France got a freekick which was hit by Gustave Szymczak. Dilan Bobet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Charuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Dilan Bobet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Borgès in the 51st minute of play. Dilan Bobet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Charuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes U21 France got a freekick which was hit by Tony Ekström. With a little luck, U21 France's Danny Pasquier got control of the ball when Arthur Rannou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bakary Ramsamy kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Rachid Borgès shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilan Bobet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chaponnay FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rachid Borgès was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 France's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quentin Charuel in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dilan Bobet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dilan Bobet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rachid Borgès's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Jean-Cyrille Beurier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dilan Bobet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 86th minute U21 France were awarded a corner. Rachid Borgès went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Jean-Cyrille Beurier heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Eduart Rrustemi hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Dilan Bobet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Charuel in the 93rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arthur Rannou during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Rannou. U21 France's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
