The audience was convinced that Song Peng Xi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmir Catarinense was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Song Peng Xi was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Etxepare in the 52nd minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baškim Sumulikovski hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes in the game Noël Maunoury did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marc Chiquet. Loco De Remate's Clodoveo Christobal was substituted for Rene Aires. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympique Salonais's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leandro Virila was slow to take the kick. During this time Loco De Remate's players had a chance to rest. In the 77th minute Song Peng Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Christobal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Raymond Foubert made a huge save. 82 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Christobal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raymond Foubert. Clodoveo Christobal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Delmar Chumo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Foubert having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Cossa came free, but Walmir Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Song Peng Xi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Olympique Salonais getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Noël Maunoury hit a great ball. Raymond Foubert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baškim Sumulikovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Loco De Remate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Loco De Remate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
