With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximino Cabezon in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Davison saved Sportivo Luan Toro from getting behind. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Kalinowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save ACF Fiorentina from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cabezon came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Maximino Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Saturnino Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sportivo Luan Toro's Placido Claris managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hu Xi in the 41 minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Marcial Iigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Olli Fiedler made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olli Fiedler in the 51st minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Federico Kalinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ACF Fiorentina's attentive Hu Xi managed to snatch the ball when Mauricio Lore made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Federico Kalinowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olli Fiedler in the 61st minute of play. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Jo Barone replaced Emanuel Barbu. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Burkhard Böck replaced Maximino Cabezon. ACF Fiorentina's Bengt-Rune Fastesson was substituted for Saturnino Michael. A collision led to Sportivo Luan Toro getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Placido Claris hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Gabriel Gaufred managed to get in a good position for a shot. ACF Fiorentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Gaufred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Davison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Kalinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Roland in the 69th minute of the match. Hu Xi made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gabriel Gaufred immediately put the ball in play. 88 minutes into the game, Sportivo Luan Toro's Zuri Castillejo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Kalinowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
