The corner led Hertha 1969's Moritz Hasenjäger to fire away a dangerous shot which Egemen Servet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernabe Favila made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Wilhelm Nienhaus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Egemen Servet. The goal made the score 1-3. 54 minutes into the match, Benedikt Bensch dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egemen Servet, 1-4.
