Spectators: 48 (Terracing: 37, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jerónimo Furtado started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's zone, Saul Alas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin van der Sar came out of the goal and Saul Alas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerónimo Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Florinio took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin van der Sar. Edwin van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Edwin van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Florinio in the 22nd minute. Edwin van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ricky Koppens sent off a good shot on target. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Florinio in the 31st minute of the match. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo lago in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Herminio Florinio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edwin van der Sar. The goal made the score 2-0. A collision led to Club Deportivo Águila getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Miguel Gallegos hit a great ball. After 45 minutes Club Deportivo Águila's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Piara Bue who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Piara Bue got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustavo Guimarães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jakub Szczepanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Club Deportivo Águila's Angel Velis was substituted for Ricky Koppens. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dário Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Águila's Dong Hui Yue got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Club Deportivo Águila were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. The Club Deportivo Águila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Guimarães should have stopped the shot. Baltazar Oporto hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães got control of the ball when Jerónimo Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardo lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xande Solitario. In the 96th minute Dário Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Deportivo Águila's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
