PomeziaRamblers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Tor Bern scored to the left of an out of position Claus Himschoot, making the score, 1-0. If Tor Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Claus Himschoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor Bern. In the 12th minute Benjamin Ülger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Cabrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tor Bern came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Azul Y Plomo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor Bern couldn't finish the play. Navarro Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claus Himschoot made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Tor Bern sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Freddie Ljungberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Zacarias Cabrero made a huge save. Azul Y Plomo's Valdo Doral was substituted for Hector-Luis Arzola. Zacarias Cabrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Scibilia, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's Tor Bern sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claus Himschoot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Tor Bern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Iezzi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
