An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Sakowicz in the 4th minute of play forced Thames Ironworks FC's goalkeeper Dick Melander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Sergio Cesaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dick Melander. Thames Ironworks FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Cesaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dick Melander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Bäck got free with Ivo Tropchev in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niklas Bäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Montrelle in the 32nd minute of play forced Thames Ironworks FC's goalkeeper Dick Melander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Melander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Sakowicz in the 36th minute of the match. Ivo Tropchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Forsman in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's goalkeeper Ivo Tropchev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niklas Bäck. Ivo Tropchev was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Torgny Forsman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Torgny Forsman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 46 played minutes Thames Ironworks FC got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Wennerquist. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Montrelle was the one to do the kick off. Ivo Tropchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Forsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Rickard Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Sergio Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Cesaro couldn't finish the play. Ivo Tropchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Forsman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Montrelle spun around in front of the goal 63 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Thames Ironworks FC's goal. Sergio Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dick Melander having to interfere. Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ made a substitution. Bacary Ligier replaced Sergio Cesaro. 69 minutes into the match, Thames Ironworks FC's goalkeeper Dick Melander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Montrelle. After 70 minutes Thames Ironworks FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Urtado who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Martin Urtado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Thames Ironworks FC's Dick Melander did a great save. In the 74th minute, Bacary Ligier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dick Melander. The goal made the score 2-3. Ivo Tropchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Bäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo Tropchev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niklas Bäck's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Thames Ironworks FC were awarded a corner. Gösta Granström went to the cornerflag to take it. Ivo Tropchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Nilsson in the 86th minute of the match. Dick Melander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Montrelle in the 87th minute. Thames Ironworks FC's Dick Melander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Montrelle in the 88th minute of play. When Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's Arnaldo Montrelle in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thames Ironworks FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 93 minutes Thames Ironworks FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Urtado who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's Arnaldo Montrelle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dick Melander. That made the score 2-4 after 95 minutes of play. Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
