Benoît Leneveu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Nikitas Papaiakovou could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Clemente Abad however easily saved by the left post. New England Minas's Terrence McAllister was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. New England Minas's Kasey Countess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Izotz in the 15th minute of play. Terrence McAllister took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Abad. Clemente Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Anthony Faturrahman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Anthony Faturrahman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Anthony Faturrahman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clemente Abad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th match minute, Atlas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Perpinya to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Terrence McAllister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Abad was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terrence McAllister in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Abad saved Atlas FC from getting behind. Clemente Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence McAllister in the 30th minute of the match. Victorino Inautzi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Fabricio Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Terrence McAllister reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clemente Abad. The goal made the score 4-0. Clemente Abad was a little too slow when Anthony Faturrahman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 5-0. Terrence McAllister in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Clemente Abad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Fabricio Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikitas Papaiakovou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Abad having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Marquez was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Marquez got free with Kasey Countess in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the match, Vernon Kinney had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Abad. Atlas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vernon Kinney was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 60th minute, Vernon Kinney made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Abad. Atlas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Atlas FC's Clemente Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terrence McAllister in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes, Terrence McAllister made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atlas FC's Clemente Abad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Abad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. If Ivan Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clemente Abad came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Anthony Faturrahman. But to his dismay, Anthony Faturrahman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Atlas FC's Clemente Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terrence McAllister in the 91st minute of play.
