The audience thought a goal was coming when Zdeněk Zápotocký got free with Eric Soned in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the game, Joãozinho Factor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Vladimir Capixaba quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Laércio Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Vladimir Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Capixaba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasios Bouroutzikas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Machado in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Saldanha came free, but Eric Soned reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20th play minutes Leandro Saldanha shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Eric Soned and just under the crossbar into goal. Anastasios Bouroutzikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Rivarola, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Étoile Sportive Du Sahel were awarded a corner. Vladimir Capixaba went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Vladimir Capixaba to fire away a dangerous shot which Anastasios Bouroutzikas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Leandro Saldanha in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ made a substitution. Walmir Moraes replaced Leandro Saldanha. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Per-Arne Gunnarsson was substituted for Rei Bolas. In the 55th minute Nickolai Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasios Bouroutzikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joãozinho Factor made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Roch Czeszyk however managed to control. In the 66th minute of the match Eusebio Paulin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Soned skillfully saved the ball. 68 minutes in the game Joãozinho Factor did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alfredinho Machado. Joãozinho Factor made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roch Czeszyk. Eric Soned didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmir Moraes went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Eric Soned showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Walmir Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Eric Soned. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Carlo Ancelotti was substituted for Nickolai Nickerson. Anastasios Bouroutzikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Ancelotti in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a corner. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vladimir Capixaba ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vladimir Capixaba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anastasios Bouroutzikas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 92nd minute Walmir Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Moraes in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Étoile Sportive Du Sahel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
