Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Frutos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Chile's Arnaldo Albano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elazar Talamilla in the 11 minute of the game. The supporters of Chile booed when Barrio Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roni De Pauw didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barrio Norte FC's zone, Lorencio Irarrázaval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Ospetsu came out of the goal and Lorencio Irarrázaval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Darrigrande in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrio Norte FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lorencio Irarrázaval was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Filomeno Olivos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valentin Ospetsu quite easily take care of the ball. Rogelio Mendiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Barrio Norte FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Elazar Talamilla hit a great ball. Valentin Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Darrigrande in the 28th minute of the match. Roni De Pauw made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Osvaldo Frutos immediately put the ball in play. Valentin Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Darrigrande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Barrio Norte FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Victor Hugo Pinilla hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Barrio Norte FC's Elazar Talamilla got a free kick in the 37th minute. Barrio Norte FC's attentive Victor Hugo Pinilla managed to snatch the ball when Claudio-Paul Pirinchev made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arnaldo Albano hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Frutos was the one to do the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Carlo Darrigrande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrio Norte FC's Valentin Ospetsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Ospetsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Darrigrande's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Frutos in the 74th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Francisco Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrio Norte FC's Karlos Bravo was substituted for Calvin Bessone. Chile made a substitution. Ervigio Ojeda replaced Carlo Darrigrande. Barrio Norte FC made a substitution. Ofelio Galván replaced Osvaldo Frutos. Chile's Abundio Manzano was substituted for Rogelio Mendiola. Chile made a substitution. Jorge Cabrera replaced Claudio-Paul Pirinchev. Chile's Francisco Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hao Jian Yuan in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Karlos Bravo came free, but Francisco Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
