With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erol Suer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erol Suer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Jian Tian in the 7th minute of play. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Danilo Gerber in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's corner Danilo Gerber fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erol Suer quite easily take care of the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Erol Suer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelino Flor narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
