Kurt Björkdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvise Di Crescenzo to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Kurt Björkdahl threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mauricio Fonda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 60 minutes into the game, ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s Alvise Di Crescenzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Di Crescenzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 93 played minutes CA Boca Jrs MdP got a freekick which was hit by Candido Ferman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Gonzales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CA Boca Jrs MdP's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
