In the 13th match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Kemen to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Zoccali came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Alessio Zoccali left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.S. Udinese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 40th minute, Alessio Zoccali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by A.S. Udinese's Alessio Zoccali. But to his dismay, Alessio Zoccali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Tom Pervik replaced Bruno Maranzano. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessio Zoccali made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Ervin Alla got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fagildo Pamanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Augusto Clemente replaced Cristiano Paolucci. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Kemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercole Fiorentino in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Consejo del Mate from getting behind. Augusto Clemente came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hugo Orlando Gatti could save by the left post. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aquiles Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ercole Fiorentino struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Udinese. Hugo Orlando Gatti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ercole Fiorentino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 93 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 98th minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.S. Udinese's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
