After 9 minutes, Joost Crans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Pitt Bier and the Blue Angels players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrik Skark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ege Vecih made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Din Boll got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ege Vecih quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Blue Angels were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after AC Pitt Bier's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aleksandar Ivanov took the corner. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Heebels, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Alf Björk struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ege Vecih didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue Angels. After 36 minutes of play, Blue Angels's Markus Berg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ege Vecih was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hieronim Literski in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel-Enrique Comizzo saved Blue Angels from getting behind. A collision led to Blue Angels getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sebastian Hausner hit a great ball.
