After 22 minutes of play, A.S. Udinese's Alessio Zoccali made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Orlando Gatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peyo Fonelleda. 32 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Zoccali came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Rotili was a little too slow when Bolo Bolaño got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 42ndth minute of the game Alessio Zoccali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the game, one of Consejo del Mate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 44 minutes into the match, Alessio Zoccali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Consejo del Mate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessio Zoccali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessio Zoccali in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Zoccali came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 60th minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bolo Bolaño, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alvaro Rotili was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberigo Di Franco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Kemen in the 71st minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.S. Udinese's Ercole Fiorentino got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Štefan Hlavica made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hernan Quinton immediately put the ball in play. 78 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's Danilo Gomesano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Rotili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ercole Fiorentino might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Orlando Gatti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ercole Fiorentino ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Hugo Orlando Gatti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by A.S. Udinese's Ercole Fiorentino. But to his dismay, Ercole Fiorentino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
