In the 42nd minute Nilmar Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Laurentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman in the 44th minute of the match. Bernabe Jakobe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cristian Laurentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Corinthians Paulista got a corner. AgroVet United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a rather tough play, Corinthians Paulista's Yago Leite got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Ixidor in the 63rd minute of play forced Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Anderson Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar Paraense succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Cristian Laurentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Cristian Laurentzi came out of the goal and Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilmar Paraense in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Laurentzi saved AgroVet United from getting behind. In the 89th match minute, AgroVet United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Isaio to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Sergi Ramos in the 91st minute really tested Cristian Laurentzi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
