In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cobresal's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Cobresal booed when Arrows Academy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Bartlett didn't get a good kick on the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dino Scapini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Marty Simpson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea. That made the score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play. Arrows Academy FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
