Zachariasz Dudkowski was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Ervigio Ojeda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ervigio Ojeda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Pan Lin Zhen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Enoch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Zachariasz Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ervigio Ojeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pan Lin Zhen in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Enoch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Chile's Ervigio Ojeda, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Chile. The supporters of Chile booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorencio Irarrázaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match, Ervigio Ojeda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zachariasz Dudkowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The wind increased when Pan Lin Zhen made the kick off in the second half. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorencio Irarrázaval in the 52nd minute of the match. CRUZ DEL SUR's Eustacio Antonucci was substituted for Abundio Manzano. CRUZ DEL SUR's Fabio Zorondo was substituted for Ronnie Odell. Chile's Juan Ramírez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chile's Enrique Enoch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Antonucci in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorencio Irarrázaval during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
