Remigio Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Chiriac. Saul Silvanito struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amelie FC. Máximo Portero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Remigio Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Erramu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Amelie FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Saul Silvanito hit a great ball. Máximo Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Ciro Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes, Amelie FC's Mugurel Ghiță shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amelie FC reached it. After 43rd play minutes Saul Silvanito shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Pankracy Glogowski and just under the crossbar into goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Goicoechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Máximo Portero managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Club Atlético Atlanta's Alfonso Goicoechea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 54 in the game by Alfonso Goicoechea from a close distance when the talented Máximo Portero managed to make a qualified save. Amelie FC's players were relieved. 56 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Máximo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Silvanito in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Saul Silvanito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Glogowski should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Jaizki came free, but Máximo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amelie FC made a substitution. Victorino Bartuelo replaced Nicolas Millano. Amelie FC made a substitution. Amado Chumo replaced Victorio Honrio. Club Atlético Atlanta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Ferdinand in the 78th minute. After 92 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Nevada. Máximo Portero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Goicoechea went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

Amelie FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atlético Atlanta for a fine match.
