The crowd rose to their feet as Romania's Ciprian Toma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeu Moraes. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 17th minute Ciprian Toma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Ailenei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Bleile in the 19th minute of play. Romania's Niculae Ailenei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bîlbă in the 40th minute of play. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Cupșa in the 42nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ştefan Iovan in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Alinborger's Sebastian Bleile. 48 minutes into the match, Ciprian Toma dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tadeu Moraes, 5-0.

Ciprian Toma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tadeu Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Albert Mironov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Tadeu Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Clarke in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Cozac in the 85th minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Clarke in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeu Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Arthur Clarke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeu Moraes was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Clarke in the 88th minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeu Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihnea Stanca went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Cozac in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Romania got a corner. FC Alinborger's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grigore Dărăscu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arthur Clarke scored 11-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeu Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Romania fully deserved thier win.
