In the 18th minute of the match Glentown FC got a corner. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexander Gunnarsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Glentown FC's zone, Jailson Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Beckeman came out of the goal and Jailson Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hasta Alfonso struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Fran Guerola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glentown FC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldinho Miguel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The shot was a little too simple and Kent Beckeman could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ove Lindblom managed to get in a good position for a shot. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Lindblom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Beckeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kent Beckeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Lindblom in the 90th minute of the match. Glentown FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexander Gunnarsson in the 93rd minute. In the 98th minute Ove Lindblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Beckeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
