With a little luck, Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary got control of the ball when Kryspin Zacharczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenes Oñatibia came free, but Eric Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Gary dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 26 minutes into the game, Osman Ali Okutan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Salsa F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jagiellonia Denver the free kick. Osman Ali Okutan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ximenes Oñatibia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Gary having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michal Majdoch made a kick off. Greger Fribäck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélio Donatello in the 55th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Kryspin Zacharczyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eric Gary came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Real Salsa F.C.'s Ximenes Oñatibia. But to his dismay, Ximenes Oñatibia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Real Salsa F.C.'s Natalio Txeru was substituted for Kryspin Zacharczyk. Jagiellonia Denver's Venceslas Borizar was substituted for Nicolae Costa. In the 66th minute, Natalio Txeru made a precise shot to the right of Eric Gary. Jagiellonia Denver's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Real Salsa F.C.'s Aziz Özarkın got a free kick in the 74th minute. A collision led to Real Salsa F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ximenes Oñatibia hit a great ball. Greger Fribäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 蔡伟洲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Natalio Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jagiellonia Denver's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Osman Ali Okutan was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Salsa F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Eric Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Txeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jagiellonia Denver booed when Real Salsa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batuhan De Bruyne didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Natalio Txeru came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Real Salsa F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Txeru couldn't finish the play. Real Salsa F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jagiellonia Denver for a fine match.
