When Oğuzalp Yetiş fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's protests and gave Oğuzalp Yetiş a yellow card for diving instead. Oğuzalp Yetiş hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Batıkan Muhsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29thth minute of the game Enrique Cassaretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Evtim Kúrdzhev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Batıkan Muhsin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Benedicto Bihar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. George Forsyth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute of the match Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a corner. CD Municipal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardo Sasso ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Lorenzo James managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Benedicto Bihar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving George Forsyth. That made the score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Bihar to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique Cassaretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Batıkan Muhsin having to make a save. With a little luck, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin got control of the ball when Enrique Cassaretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Cassaretto got free with Batıkan Muhsin in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CD Municipal's Oalo Dean was substituted for Enrique Cassaretto. Mouricio Zuri kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Aykut Canel was substituted for Benedicto Bihar. Aykut Canel hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Călin Morovan was slow to take the kick. During this time CD Municipal's players had a chance to rest. 74 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Aykut Canel came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykut Canel in the 77th minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aykut Canel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. George Forsyth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-2 became the score in the 88th minute when Ryota Miyagi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Oalo Dean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Batıkan Muhsin made a huge save. Ryota Miyagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Batıkan Muhsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Ryota Miyagi made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CD Municipal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
