Alcanoğlu FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Hulan the free kick. 26 minutes into the game, one of Alcanoğlu FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hazar Aktürk to make the kick off. Joakim Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Korkutalp Zaim came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Alcanoğlu FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korkutalp Zaim couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Hulan's zone, Korkutalp Zaim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Sjödin came out of the goal and Korkutalp Zaim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Selmi Hazarbeyoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olov Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korkutalp Zaim in the 76th minute of the match. Hazar Aktürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Sjödin having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing IFK Hulan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
