Long Coburn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Paraibano in the 7th minute of play. Long Coburn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulinho Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Long Coburn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Márcio Montenegro's late challenge caught a Bogantungan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márcio Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zamboni EC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Márcio Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Joshua Gruer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bogantungan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Long Coburn should have stopped the shot. Paulinho Paraibano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Long Coburn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Bailey in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percival Ramalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulinho Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Long Coburn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Paulinho Paraibano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Long Coburn was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Long Coburn made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Paulinho Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. Zamboni EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
