The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raouf Galal was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Efekan Okdemir capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Efekan Okdemir really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Erman Tunçkol charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mortada Ghanem made a kick off. Raouf Galal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efekan Okdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Mortada Ghanem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bumin Ergünay charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bumin Ergünay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
