Erkut Torkal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Pajtim Pajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dërmenas FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pajtim Pajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bamir Berisha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdullah Serdaroğlu's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efekan Okdemir in the 10th minute of play forced Dërmenas FK's goalkeeper Bamir Berisha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Kartal's goalkeeper Erkut Torkal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gegë Pjetri. Herald Hyka missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 18 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Erkut Torkal right hand side. Gegë Pjetri scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erkut Torkal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Dërmenas FK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Stefan Bisha hit a great ball. Dërmenas FK's Bamir Berisha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efekan Okdemir in the 33rd minute of play. Sali Mati kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Dërmenas FK's Pajtim Pajo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Hayrullah Kıncal hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Hayrullah Kıncal's late challenge caught a Dërmenas FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayrullah Kıncal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kartal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hayrullah Kıncal hit a great ball. Gegë Pjetri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erkut Torkal having to make a save. If Gegë Pjetri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Dërmenas FK booed when Kartal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağlar Işılay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gegë Pjetri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Dërmenas FK's goalkeeper Bamir Berisha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdullah Serdaroğlu. In the 79th match minute, Dërmenas FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herald Hyka to maneuver through the defense. Herald Hyka hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Bamir Berisha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efekan Okdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Gegë Pjetri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kartal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dërmenas FK.
