After a defensive mix-up in Foothills United's zone, Kyle Bailey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Sweet came out of the goal and Kyle Bailey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Bailey in the 48th minute of play forced Foothills United's goalkeeper Jan Sweet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joshua Gruer to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Foothills United's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Gruer came free, but Jan Sweet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Foothills United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bogantungan's performance. The match ended with a win for Bogantungan.
