Josué Rego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Cordario kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Adelino Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josué Rego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Zola Predosa FC's Hugo Flecken got a free kick in the 47th minute. Zola Predosa FC made a substitution. In the 48th minute, Hugo Flecken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Servaes to make the kick off. Faustino Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Sciamanna, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius Servaes got free with Josué Rego in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Sebastião Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Sciamanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zola Predosa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Venancio Jauregui in the 68th minute. Roald Lillehagen kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Cosimo Sciamanna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Jerold. Spams's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosimo Sciamanna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Vinícius Servaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josué Rego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Faustino Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Piermattei in the 88th minute of the match. Vinícius Servaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josué Rego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Cosimo Sciamanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Spams's Vinícius Servaes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josué Rego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute of the match Spams got a corner. Zola Predosa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Godfredo Galtero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Vinícius Servaes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score.
