Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antonio Hrste got the match started through his kick off. Maksimir's Antonio Križanec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Maksimir from getting a goal against them. After 7 played minutes Maksimir got a freekick which was hit by Adam Dodaj. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Manex got free with Antonio Križanec in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Hrste in the 9th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Cipriano Aguilera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Fortín de Floresta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Wu Bing Fei in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Maksimir's Gradimir Antonić. Šandor Dajčić kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Hats in the 25th minute of play forced Maksimir's goalkeeper Antonio Križanec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Delmar Manex got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antonio Križanec was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 27 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Hrste came free, but Santos Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Manex received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Antonio Križanec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Hrste in the 30th minute of play. Delmar Manex received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Antonio Križanec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antonio Hrste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Hrste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes El Fortín de Floresta got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Frances. Maksimir's Adam Dodaj got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Maksimir's Antonio Križanec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Hats in the 51st minute of play. Wu Bing Fei made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Maksimir's Gradimir Antonić. In the 59thth minute of the game Cipriano Aguilera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maksimir's Antonio Križanec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Križanec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Manex's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. When El Fortín de Floresta's Delmar Manex in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maksimir's goalie prevented a goal. Maksimir made a substitution. Marin Kuharić replaced Gradimir Antonić. El Fortín de Floresta were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Maksimir's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Casimiro Policarpio took the corner. Lisandro Martinez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Hrste in the 69th minute of the match. Santos Orlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danijel Petrlin went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Adrijan Grbović might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Orlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrijan Grbović ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrijan Grbović in the 73rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Manex in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Križanec saved Maksimir from getting behind. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrijan Grbović in the 79th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Wu Bing Fei in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Maksimir's Mauro Jurišić. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrijan Grbović got free with Santos Orlan in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute of the match Maksimir got a corner. El Fortín de Floresta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Dodaj ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adrijan Grbović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrijan Grbović in the 95th minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Maksimir supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maksimir would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
