In the 3rd minute, Christoff Stocks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Christoff Stocks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guilherme Veiga. Racing Miami Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoff Stocks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 16th minute, Jan Hop left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 20 minutes, Larry Cermak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Miami Futbol Club and the AFC FUSION players grew even worse after the yellow card. Larry Cermak hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Christoff Stocks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guilherme Veiga. AFC FUSION's Lino Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Jan Hop made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Veiga. Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 34th minute, Romulo Abilio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 40 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga got control of the ball when Christoff Stocks tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Christoff Stocks. In the 43rd match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Abilio to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodney Hagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Rios to make the kick off. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodney Hagen. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams was substituted for Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Romulo Abilio hit a great ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Xu Yuan Lin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roberto Eztebe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 67th minute of play. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Hop in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Bearden to maneuver through the defense. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Aureliano Arnau replaced Christoff Stocks. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Trey Echols replaced Rodney Hagen. In the 71st minute, Rodrigo Bearden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 73rd minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chance Adams in the 79th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wojciech Fiszer made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Romeo Zeigler. 88 minutes into the game, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Eztebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. The audience was convinced that Lino Rios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Veiga was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Romeo Zeigler hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. AFC FUSION were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Racing Miami Futbol Club for a fine match.
