Eugenio Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Kasper Rechkemmers short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Ubaldo Matildo Fillol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Korn's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbigniew Fedosz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Mühsam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Germania München's Silvester Overesch got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
