The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cazimir Angelescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Torm, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Vladimiro Lauro struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Cazimir Angelescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikingos FC. Victor Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Hayalim Kedoshim's Tadeu Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastián Sosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laurențiu Pora showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. If Vladimiro Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Marek Torm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Angelescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Torm came free, but Cazimir Angelescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Hayalim Kedoshim got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Carneiro. Laurențiu Pora scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastián Sosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ladislao Erramu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Angelescu having to interfere. Vladimiro Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Pora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sebastián Sosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cazimir Angelescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Torm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Sosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurențiu Pora's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute Laurențiu Pora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Vikingos FC made a substitution. Roque Vito replaced Victor Abaurre. Arsenio Manuelo made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ladislao Erramu immediately put the ball in play. Hayalim Kedoshim's Gelu Chirilă was substituted for Laurențiu Pora. Vikingos FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Hayalim Kedoshim's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilhelm Widberg took the corner. After taking down the ball on Vikingos FC's corner Marek Torm fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cazimir Angelescu quite easily take care of the ball. If Per-Olof Vallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelu Chirilă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastián Sosa having to make a save. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
