Emil Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paskal Ayarza, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bajenland's goalkeeper Emil Hägg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Truman Harrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Nocny scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Hägg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Heriberto in the 19th minute of play forced Bajenland's goalkeeper Emil Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Nocny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bajenland's Emil Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Nocny in the 27th minute of play. Edmund Nocny might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Hägg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Nocny ran back to his position shaking his head. Truman Harrington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Croti in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Jorge Walme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KYRA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bajenland the free kick. After 34 played minutes KYRA FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Walme. When Mauro Bartolome fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KYRA FC's protests and gave Mauro Bartolome a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KYRA FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mauro Bartolome hit a great ball. KYRA FC's Mauro Bartolome managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ronny Örtendal in the 46 minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Bajenland fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! KYRA FC made a substitution. Flavio Vincente replaced Uriel Bartolome. KYRA FC's Saverio Regis was substituted for Aureliano Heriberto. KYRA FC's Aleksey Polosov was substituted for Guaberto Bento. Wang Bing made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ronny Örtendal immediately put the ball in play. Truman Harrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fresco Sesse in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Ronny Örtendal threw the ball into play from the sideline. KYRA FC's Mauro Bartolome quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 61st minute Edmund Nocny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KYRA FC's Mauro Bartolome got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Edmund Nocny might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Hägg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Nocny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Hägg having to make a save. The Bajenland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Hägg should have stopped the shot. Jorge Walme took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Hägg. Bajenland's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Paskal Ayarza managed to get in a good position for a shot. KYRA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paskal Ayarza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Hägg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KYRA FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Bajenland for much of the match.
