In the 3rd minute, Facundo Bot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Go Ahead Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Facundo Bot came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Go Ahead Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Facundo Bot couldn't finish the play. Go Ahead Eagles's Rafa Lojewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Go Ahead Eagles from getting a goal against them. Luisinho Linhares took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafa Lojewski. Rafa Lojewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cristiano Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Bot in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Bot in the 19th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Cristiano Lage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Bot in the 21st minute of play. Rafa Lojewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Linhares in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Panos Kaklamanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Bot in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Facundo Bot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Bot in the 35th minute of the match. Facundo Bot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cristiano Lage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisinho Linhares to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Luisinho Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Lojewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafa Lojewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikail Yerhum, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Mikail Yerhum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Amorebieta in the 61st minute of the match. When Go Ahead Eagles's Fernando Amorebieta in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minuim SS's goalie prevented a goal. Cristiano Lage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Facundo Bot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Facundo Bot in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Lage saved Minuim SS from getting behind. Go Ahead Eagles's Manga Mangkudikusumah was substituted for Panos Kaklamanos. Go Ahead Eagles made a substitution. Iustin Bâru replaced Erling Lewandowski. Go Ahead Eagles's Panos Karagoutis was substituted for Grigore Mălaimare. After 67 minutes Minuim SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Gonçalves who took care of the corner kick. Go Ahead Eagles's Cássio Gonçalves was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristiano Lage in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rafa Lojewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikail Yerhum in the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Go Ahead Eagles's Iustin Bâru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Lage. That made the score 1-2 after 71 minutes of play. In the 76th minute, Mikail Yerhum made a precise shot to the right of Rafa Lojewski. Go Ahead Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Iustin Bâru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Lage read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Minuim SS's Cristiano Lage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Minuim SS from getting a goal against them. Rafa Lojewski came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Minuim SS's Mikail Yerhum. But to his dismay, Mikail Yerhum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Cristiano Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Bot in the 90th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Go Ahead Eagles's corner Cássio Gonçalves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristiano Lage quite easily take care of the ball. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Minuim SS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cássio Gonçalves was slow to take the kick. During this time Go Ahead Eagles's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Facundo Bot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Minuim SS's Cristiano Lage did a great save. Go Ahead Eagles's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
