The supporters of Russówek booed when Miau Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Kieca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Daniel Kieca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doriva Saldanha went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Montez made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Arantes to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Russówek got a corner. Miau Stars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Traczewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edward Traczewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doriva Saldanha got free with Daniel Kieca in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Edmílson Arantes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Kieca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Lucas in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Miau Stars defense, Zbigniew Zabrzeski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdulkadir Eraslan. The Miau Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdulkadir Eraslan should have stopped the shot. In the 69th match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palmer Akers to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Kieca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flavinho Sousa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 74 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbigniew Zabrzeski in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdulkadir Eraslan saved Miau Stars from getting behind. Daniel Kieca was a little too slow when Flavinho Sousa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-4. Ronaldo Fenomeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Daniel Kieca made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Miau Stars's Olavo Mota ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Kieca. Daniel Kieca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. The Miau Stars supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Miau Stars would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
