Tomasz Hajto's late challenge caught a Natus Vincere F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomasz Hajto helped the player get up and apologised. Eugeniusz Osikowicz had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Pedro Domingues's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 9 minutes, Albeiro Usuriaga made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Torpedo Dabrowa's Eugeniusz Osikowicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11thth minute of the game Pedro Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Torpedo Dabrowa's Eugeniusz Osikowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Kajetan Chmielecki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Torpedo Dabrowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kajetan Chmielecki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zorko Quack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Chmielecki in the 18th minute of play. Pedro Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Osikowicz having to interfere. In the 21st minute Albeiro Usuriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Osikowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes FC Torpedo Dabrowa got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Chmielecki. In the 23rdth minute of the game Pedro Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Torpedo Dabrowa's Eugeniusz Osikowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Torpedo Dabrowa were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Natus Vincere F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fevzi Toralp took the corner. Natus Vincere F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kjetil-André Digernes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugeniusz Osikowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Torpedo Dabrowa's Eugeniusz Osikowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albeiro Usuriaga in the 45th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Domingues in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugeniusz Osikowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Domingues was the one to do the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albeiro Usuriaga hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Natus Vincere F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Natus Vincere F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
